Jason Xiao and Zi Cheng Huang

This fellowship is founded by two top debating instructors, Jason Xiao and Sam Huang, who have coached multiple teams at the World Schools Debating Championships including Team Canada from 2019 - 2021 (winning the World Championship in 2020 and 2021) and Team Kenya. In addition, both are highly experienced debaters and judges themselves, with Jason having won the World Universities Debating Championship 2022 amongst other prestigious tournaments and Sam Huang having being a Chief Adjudicator at notable university tournaments such as the North American Universities Debating Championships and the upcoming United States Universities Debating Championships and winning or finalling at tournaments such as the Sydney Mini, the Melbourne Mini, the HWS IV, the Hart House IV, and more. In addition, Sam has broken at the World Universities Debating Championships and the Oxford IV.

Note: Only Zi Cheng Huang will be giving an unpaid one-off series of talks to high school students in a programme for talented high school debaters about effective altruism, organized by Zi Cheng Huang.
